Bank Statement to Google Sheets

Convert statement PDFs into reviewed rows, then create a Google Sheet for shared bookkeeping and analysis.

From statement to Google Sheets

  1. Convert the statement and inspect the extracted transaction table.
  2. Choose Google Sheets in a supported result view with an active subscription.
  3. Authorize Google access and open the newly created sheet.

Before you export

This creates a new spreadsheet from your reviewed result. It is an export, not an ongoing bank feed or automatic synchronization. You can also download CSV or Excel and import it into Google Sheets yourself.

Check supported sources, plan access and Statement Analyzer for multi-file review.

Choose the output your workflow needs

CSV and Excel are standard exports; direct Google Sheets and accounting exports require an active paid subscription.

  • Excel (.xlsx): Download a native workbook for formulas, filters and spreadsheet review.
  • CSV: Download transaction rows as a portable, comma-separated file.
  • Google Sheets: Create a new Google Sheet from reviewed rows after Google authorization.
  • OFX: Prepare an Open Financial Exchange file for compatible finance software.
  • QIF: Prepare a Quicken Interchange file for software that supports QIF import.
  • QuickBooks CSV: Download a three-column CSV for manual transaction import and mapping.
  • Xero CSV: Prepare a bank statement CSV for a manual Xero-style import.
  • Tally CSV: Prepare narration, debit, credit and balance columns for your Tally workflow.
  • PDF Review Report: Download a generated report of extracted transactions for review.
  • Accountant Package ZIP: Bundle CSV templates, OFX, QIF, a PDF review report and a README.

Accounting exports need dated monetary transactions and required currency information. Some bills, order reports and account summaries only support spreadsheet review. Compare output formats and check plan access.

Which output formats can I choose?

Choose Excel (.xlsx), CSV, Google Sheets, OFX, QIF, QuickBooks CSV, Xero CSV, Tally CSV, PDF Review Report or Accountant Package ZIP. CSV and Excel are standard exports; direct Google Sheets and accounting exports require an active paid subscription.

Can I send statement rows to Google Sheets?

Yes. With an active paid subscription, choose Google Sheets in a supported result view and authorize Google access to create a new sheet. You can also download CSV or Excel and import it into Google Sheets yourself.

Can I use the result in Tally, QuickBooks or Xero?

Paid plans provide Tally CSV, QuickBooks CSV and Xero CSV files for a reviewed manual handoff. Check account, date, amount and column mapping in the receiving software. These exports do not post entries or connect a live bank feed; Tally XML, QBO and QFX are not offered.

Are all export formats suitable for every document?

Spreadsheet exports can preserve the rows a document provides. Accounting formats need usable dated monetary transactions, and some formats require a confirmed currency. A credit report, bill or order report may lack the fields needed for accounting import. Review the original and the destination requirements before use.
